## Summary

The Department of Immigration has announced the suspension of trekking permits for high-risk areas from October 29 to 31, citing forecasts of heavy snowfall, snowstorms, and avalanches in high-altitude and Himalayan regions. The decision aims to ensure the safety of trekkers and foreign tourists, who are advised to reconsider their plans and prioritize caution in the affected areas.
